2015 Independent We Stand Awards Kicked Off
Nominate Local, Independent, Green Industry Businesses

"The Indie" honors the top vote-getter as being the independent, small business of the year.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Independent We Stand Indie Awards, created to help recognize locally owned small businesses that have gone above and beyond to deliver great customer service and community support.

Anyone can nominate a business and voting begins as soon as a nomination is placed, so the earlier the better. The winner will receive a $10,000 prize package provided by Independent We Stand, its sponsors and partners. Nominations and voting end on Nov. 15.

The organization had this to say about potential nominees, "Maybe they pitched in to help clear the damage after a recent storm or made sure the neighborhood little league team had uniforms for the upcoming season. If so, we want to recognize and reward them as the best locally owned business in the country with the Independent Small Business of the Year Award"
