2023 Economic Review and 2024 Outlook - Residential Construction Spending

Residential construction spending in the U.S. dropped by 18.5% through September, as reported by the U.S. Census Bureau and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Despite a dip in public residential construction spending, the residential sector comprised 52% of total construction spending in the first nine months of the year.
