BioD-Mat 40 blanket is woven from machine twisted bristle coir twines with a unit weight of 460 grams/square meter. 100 percent biodegradable blankets are strong, durable and provide a higher erosion resistance upon installation, while supporting growth and development of vegetation. Open weave (65 percent open area) BioD-Mat 40 coir mat is an excellent tool to hold sod on steep slopes.
