Lighthearted, but a true heavyweight in its class, it scribes a controlled curve on seat and back, then tempers restraint with the exuberant gesture of its arm. Scarborough is welcoming and comfortable in two versions. The horizontal strap seat is clean and simple. The woven seat suggests the familiar strapping fabric of patio furniture. The patented design is assembled as a warp and weft construction of pre-formed parts. The backless Scarborough bench can be used from either side and is ideal for narrow spaces. Litter receptacles with strap or square bar vertical panels are nicely scaled to the bench and the human form. Scarborough transcends categories. It is remarkably durable not only in the way it wears but in the way it remains current over time.
