The Maryland/Potomac Chapter ASLA celebrated Landscape Architecture Month with the 19th Annual Award Gala on Friday, April 27th at the District Architecture Center. The program encourages professional excellence in Maryland and the Washington Metropolitan Area by recognizing significant completed and un-built Landscape Architectural projects. Three awards are given, the Honor Award, which is the highest award for outstanding planning or design; the Merit Award, an award of recognition for superior professional accomplishment; and the Traveling Award, a prestigious award for a project that uniquely reflects and solves the most current issues in landscape architecture through innovative design excellence.
