Lutsko Associates creates thoughtful and meaningful landscapes that explore and express the relationship between people and the environment. Headed by Ron Lutsko, Jr., principal and owner, each member of the practice has a unique background which they bring to bear on the firm?EUR??,,????'???s projects. Since the founding of the firm in 1981, Lutsko Associates has successfully completed over 300 projects throughout the United States. The firm works in all areas of professional practice: institutional, civic, residential and commercial. A passion for design and ecology is the foundation of our firm. Mr. Lutsko has degrees in both horticulture and landscape architecture, and has operated a plant nursery since 1998, growing native and climate appropriate plants for their projects.

The Arthur L. Menzies Garden of California Native Plants, Strybing Arboretum, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

The Arthur Menzies Garden is a public educational display garden composed of California native plants. The design depicts a condensed view of the pristine landscape of California much as it would have appeared prior to European impact on the state.






Cornerstone Festival of Gardens, Sonoma

Working closely with a client design, Lutsko Associates developed a collection of rotating outdoor gallery spaces, event spaces and associated circulation throughout the project?EUR??,,????'???s nursery, caf????(C), and bookstore. The outdoor experimental galleries are based on the European model of festival gardens similar to the Chaumont-sur-Loire in France.






Paraduxx Winery, Napa Valley

Paraduxx winery is located in the center of the Napa Valley along the less traveled Silverado Trail. The main features of the site include a hospitality center, a courtyard, and an architecturally unique ten-sided fermentation building which houses a contemporary wine making facility.






Private Residence/Vineyard, Napa

The main criterion for this project was to create an eco-sensitive landscape with minimal impact on the environment. To that end, local and recycled materials were utilized throughout the site. The landscape created for the site consists of bunch grass meadows, local chaparral and oak species, and edible plants.
