The 2011 Landscape Expo-Long Beach, Wednesday October 12 to Thursday October 13, will not only be BIGGER and BETTER, but will also offer numerous FREE events. TLE 2011 is proud to present: National Association of Professional Women in Landscape (NAPWL) Seminars Women in the Dirt is a documentary movie about the groundbreaking work of seven landscape architects. Their projects combine awareness of architectural and landscape principles, concern with sustainability and safety and beauty. The scope of their work ranges from private homes to vast public projects. Through conversations with the landscape architects in their offices, or in the stunning spaces they?EUR??,,????'?????<???????????????????????(R)?EUR??,,????'????ve designed, the film explores each woman?EUR??,,????'?????<???????????????????????(R)?EUR??,,????'????s personal aesthetics and approach to their discipline. Women in the Dirt depicts how these ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????masters of the obvious?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????????? create the sublime. The 11:00 am showing will be followed by a Q&A session with Ms. Stoney. Panel discussion: ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????Improving Project Management for Small Business?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????????? will feature top contractors, consultants and water resource specialists in the industry and landscape architects and designers. They will shed light on improving project workflow and working with subcontractors. The speakers include Shelley Sparks, Stephanie Landregan, Leslie Golden, Margie Grace, Karen Holt, Laura Dalton, Kelly Fore Dixon and Pam Pavela. At the 2010 Landscape Expo, 205 vendors exhibited, showcasing a wide variety of products and services for the landscape industry. This year, attendance is expected to grow.
