WPi was commissioned to provide planning services for the award-winning Sea Pines Beach Club. The new 25,000 sq. ft. facility features an indoor restaurant and bar, an open-air beach bar, rooftop bar, large oceanside deck and terraces, a private reception area on the second floor, retail and office space, and expanded restrooms, showers and changing rooms.
Hampton Lake is a new community by Reed Development in the Buckwalter Tract in the greater Hilton Head area. WPi provided master planning, character/theming and design development. The community features a 345-acre nature preserve, a 165-acre freshwater lake, seven miles of navigable waterways, 15 miles of shoreline with campsites, miles of greenways, a boat and lake house, an amenity center with two pools, community parks and a dog park.
Wood+Partners Inc. is providing design and construction phase services for a $27 million multiuse trail project in collaboration with the city of Tallahassee and the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency. The trail, which is within a greenway, connects to Tallahassee's recently opened Cascades Park. The trail will connect the heart of downtown to the Saint Marks Trail. One amenity is an enhanced five-acre stormwater management facility with terraced seating, aquatic landscape, habitat creation and LED lighting for nighttime entertainment.
WPi provided streetscape designs for Charleston from Market Street to Meeting Street to Concord Street. The streetscape study will help guide the improvements to the iconic downtown area, including new sidewalks, open spaces, landscaping, wayfinding, movement and flow of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, safety, lighting, parking and connectivity.
