U.S. housing completions reached a non-seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,189,700 marking a 5.0% increase from the revised September estimate. This growth was led by heavy increased in multi-unit completions with the two-to-four-unit and the five or more-unit completions growing by 23.3% and 23.6% respectively. However, single-family completions decreased by 1.7% year-over-year. Regionally, all areas saw growth in the past 12 months except the Midwest who dropped by 2.3%.
