CMHA Report Reveals Market Stability

Sustained interest in outdoor living and stormwater management brings hope for concrete manufacturers and Landscape Architects, alike, according to the recent CMHA Hardscape Production Report. Photo Credit: mel_88, Pixabay

The Concrete Masonry & Hardscapes Association (CMHA) has released the 2026 CMHA Hardscape Production Report, which shows a stabilization in concrete pavement production. Furthermore, of the 64 manufacturers surveyed, none anticipate a production decline in 2027, especially with "continued investment in outdoor living" and "growing interest in products that support [...] stormwater management." This bodes well for Landscape Architects, who are involved with design in both areas. The executive summary and full report can be found on CMHA's website.
