Note from Kevin: Two of my sculptures were damaged last year due to vandalism (graffiti/tagging) and a municipal maintenance worker's mower blowing littered glass. I was able to refinish the green marker tag with a day of work, and I was thankfully reimbursed for that work by the art program. I am unable to refinish the mower damage due to this particular piece being powder coated. The art program showing this piece sent an amount so insignificant that it is basically worth nothing towards restoring this sculpture. Please support public art and high-quality art-on-loan programs! Go to the above municipal websites for links to their public art programs, installation maps, and voting for people's choice awards.
