Chip Crawford, PLA, FASLA, Honored
The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) honored Chip Crawford, PLA, FASLA, with the 2026 Legacy Award, highlighting his leadership during the 2008 financial crisis as well as his role in developing the LAF Landscape Performance Series and the LAF Olmsted Scholars Program that recognized 97 students just this year. With over 40 years in the industry, Crawford has worked for well-known firms such as The HOK Planning Group and LJC, recently founding a new landscape architecture and planning practice out of St. Louis, Missouri, called Kanopi Gap.
