LAF Gives Away Over $380,000

2025 Impact Report, Sharp Decline From 2024
by Keziah Olsen Morris, LASN

2025 marked a distinct drop in financial support with promise for 2026 due to successful fundraising events.

The Landscape Architecture Foundation's (LAF) 2025 Annual Impact Report stated that the organization gave out $387,000 during 2025. Just under half ($165,000) of these funds went towards scholarships for graduate and undergraduate landscape architecture students, and another $64,000 were awarded to Olmsted Scholars.

Another significant statistic is that 2,500 hours' worth of free CEUs were given through LAF webinars and trainings. The foundation also hosted its first private gala dinner before the annual benefit, and LAF CEO Barbara Duetsch was awarded the ASLA's President's Medal.

The financial numbers represent the lowest LAF has released since 2021 and a sharp decline from $554,000 in 2024. However, the number of CEUs and grants awarded has increased.
