The Stuart Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) has announced the Master of Science in Design with a concentration in Property Development and Design (MSD-PDD).
Tailored towards Landscape Architects, architects, and planners, the year-long program "empowers design professionals to drive value in development processes without sacrificing architectural quality or sustainability goals," according to program director and architecture chair Rossana Hu.
Courses will cover a variety of topics across landscape architecture, architecture, planning, and urban implementation, complete with studios and workshops to provide hands-on experience and technological development.
This new program expands on a certificate the school had in Real Estate Design and Development to a post-graduate degree that spans two semesters and a summer session. Applications are open through January 7, 2026, for the inaugural cohort.
