Two thirds of homeowners use their outdoor living features several times a week. AMD Direct's Ken Love presented a live and recorded webinar on April 25th for CEU credit and to help attendees learn about design principles, considerations, and trends within the outdoor living market.
Attendees learned about cold islands, fire features, water features, and outdoor kitchens. Love explained how the pandemic propelled homeowners to create an extension of the indoor space more so than a simple patio and umbrella set-up.
He went on to explain that designing unique, beautiful, functional landscapes is more than just selecting features, kitchens, and islands, it is also knowing the products selected, how to consider the location and use, and manufacturer specifications.

Ken began his career in the hearth and outdoor living industry in sales, installation and service. This passion for his work evolved into becoming a retail store owner for nearly 14 years. The natural progression of Ken's talents led him to the manufacturing side of the industry where he began a sales representative firm working closely with manufactures and distributors of outdoor living products. Ken's level of expertise has also made him a sought after asset to the manufactures he works with. He has also been a corporate trainer providing education, training, and technical support for a major manufacturer of outdoor living gas products.
Ken's extensive knowledge of outdoor living products, gas and wood burning products and outdoor grilling products comes through in his presentations, providing the audience with a unique perspective and in-depth learning experience.
