The SkyView Roof Deck System is set to be the most comprehensive roof deck system on the market, enabling designers to source all key components for elevated roof deck surfaces from a single manufacturer, ensuring compatibility, efficiency, and streamlined project execution. The ™ Roof Deck System will include: the SkyView Pedestal System, SkyView Wind Uplift System, Skyview Wood Tile, SkyView Grate, and Unilock Roof Deck Slabs.
How flexible is the SkyView Pedestal System?
The pedestal system is designed to be fully adjustable from 1/2" to 31" without cross bracing, making it the ideal system for virtually any height requirement in roof top applications. Its base design provides integrated slope compensation of up to 6%, keeping the body of the pedestal perfectly perpendicular and ensuring greater structural stability. The unique design of this pedestal system will allow it to be incredibly flexible and meet demanding requirements.
What makes the SkyView Wind Uplift System unique?
The SkyView Wind Uplift System is an innovative solution for elevated paving in high-wind environments. Designed to provide both security and design flexibility, this system combines three key components: SkyView Pedestals, the SkyView Wind Uplift Kit, and exclusive 2" Unilock Wind Uplift Slabs.
What sets it apart is its hidden tie-down mechanism. The slabs feature undercut channels on two sides, allowing a lockdown bar to slide in underneath and invisibly secure them. Unlike typical market options, these 2" slabs are thinner and lighter, making them easier to handle without sacrificing strength or stability. The continuous channel also supports unlimited laying pattern offsets, offering unmatched flexibility in design. With a range of colors, textures, and sizes, the Unilock Wind Uplift Slabs deliver a sleek, secure paving solution. Am I limited in my surfacing options when it comes to using pedestals?
No, Unilock will offer a wide range of surfacing options that are fully compatible with the SkyView Pedestal System. These will include roof deck slabs designed for both wind uplift and standard applications, available in an array of textures, colors, and sizes to suit any design vision. Beyond slabs, the system will feature the SkyView Grate, allowing you to achieve the same designs you would have in on-grade applications, now on elevated pedestals. For a more organic touch, Unilock will offer wood tiles that bring warmth and natural character to your project.
