The survey's introduction states: "A.I. is not just changing design processes; it's also altering how professionals perceive their roles in the industry. These changes raise important questions about the future of landscape architecture, particularly regarding practice, education, and research." The three organizations stress the importance of understanding A.I.'s impact on landscape architecture in particular in order to "[guide] its thoughtful integration into our profession."

That's what the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) want to know in their joint survey.
